IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL CONFERENCE PRESENTERS
Presenters: The printed program has gone to press. Any edits you now make to your profile in the conference submission system can also be emailed to Frank Maurer so that your changes may appear, if relevant, in the addendum handout.
There will not be a conference CD this year (to save money, save the environment, and rid the world of a few more drink coasters). Instead, materials will be put on the conference web site.
THERE ARE TWO IMPORTANT DEADLINES:
June 23rd: (This deadine appeared on the speaker agreement form.)
Presenters must upload all their presentation materials to the submission system. These materials will be placed on the conference web site; handouts will not be made.
July 10, 2007:
Even if you uploaded your presentation materials to the submission system, you must still email your handout file(s) to Britta @ Meeting Strategies Worldwide by July 10th. Handout materials will not be downloaded from the submission system.
IF YOU WISH TO HAVE ANY HANDOUTS AT YOUR PRESENTATION, PLEASE NOTE THE JULY 10TH DEADLINE.... After July 10th, speakers will be responsible for printing their own handouts at their own expense.
Conference organizers will not have the capacity to print handouts on site before and during the conference. Speakers who need handouts on site will be provided with a list of local printing companies (i.e. Kinkos) including a price list.
To maintain the desired formatting, the handouts must be submitted in the following format:
- They must be PDF
- They must be formatted on 8 1/2 x 11 paper (not A4)
- There is a page limit of 20 double-sided pages per handout
Handouts that do not meet the above criteria will not be accepted and will be returned to the speaker.
When considering if you need handouts, may we ask you to think about the environmentally-friendly option?... If you upload your presentation
materials to the submission system, they will be made available to everyone on the conference web site.
SPEAKER AGREEMENT FORMS due June 23rd
Speakers who are to receive a complimentary registration will be emailed a coupon code AFTER they have signed
their speaker agreement. (Speaker
agreement forms have been e-mailed to the primary presenter for each session type.) If you are a speaker
and anticipate that you may be receiving a complimentary registration please DO NOT register for the conference
until you have completed the agreement process and received the coupon code.
